Role Responsibility:

As a General Laborer at SITA, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the company’s buildings. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and preparing job sites: Ensuring that all work areas are clean and ready for maintenance activities.
  • Reading plans and instructions: Interpreting blueprints, instructions, and specifications to determine the necessary work activities.
  • Handling materials: Unloading, storing, and stacking materials delivered to the site.
  • Signaling equipment operators: Facilitating the alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.

While this role does not directly involve managing a team, effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and supervisors are essential. You will need to work closely with the Foreman and other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Effective management of operations:
