Job Description:
As a Salesperson at Sleepmasters Acornhoek, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales, exceed targets, and create positive shopping experiences for customers. You will focus on understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products while ensuring store profitability through effective merchandising and customer relationship building. This role requires someone who is both energetic and strategic in their sales approach and can operate efficiently in a high-volume retail environment.

Your key duties will include:

• Generating revenue through proactive sales activities
• Reaching and exceeding set sales budgets and income goals
• Ensuring that product displays and store merchandising attract and retain customer interest
• Handling customer transactions accurately, both cash and credit, in line with store policies
• Delivering a customer-centric experience that drives loyalty and repeat business
• Following internal policies and procedures with precision

Requirements:
To qualify for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• A completed Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
• At least 7 to 12 months of sales experience, ideally within a retail environment
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
• Confidence in engaging customers, handling queries, and recommending products
• A strong interest in sleep products and customer well-being will be advantageous

Role Responsibility:
This position is instrumental in ensuring that the Sleepmasters Acornhoek branch maintains its high sales standards while growing its loyal customer base. As a Salesperson, you will be expected to:
