Smollan is Hiring x100 merchandisers 2024 Are you passionate about product presentation and driving sales? Smollan is seeking a dynamic Merchandiser to join our team in Soweto, Gauteng. As a Merchandiser, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our products are displayed attractively and strategically in stores, maximizing their visibility and sales potential.
- Location: Soweto, Gauteng
- Salary/Stipend: TBC p/month
- Closing Date: TBC
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize product placement for Heineken products within assigned stores.
- Ensure proper product display and inventory levels.
- Negotiate additional display space for new products.
- Implement and track weekly price specials.
- Execute display plans and meet sales targets.
- Address display issues with store management and escalate when needed.
- Maintain store assets and report any damage.
- Manage promotional materials throughout campaigns.
- Identify and manage at-risk stock to prevent losses.
- Resolve data issues using SMART tools.
- Report on competitor activities.
- Conduct brand activation activities.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Resolve client issues and track satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Matric certificate.
- Experience in merchandising, sales, or customer service.
- Proficiency in English.
- Reside within 15km of the job location.
- Clear criminal record.
Preferences:
- South African candidates.
- Prior merchandising experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively.
