Introduction

African Resonance is inviting young, motivated, and technology-driven individuals to apply for the Software Testing Learnership Programme 2025. As part of the programme, candidates will undergo structured training, receive mentorship from industry experts, and engage in real-world projects to develop competencies in software testing and quality assurance.

What is African Resonance: Software Testing Learnership Programme 2025?

The Software Testing Learnership is designed to empower participants with technical expertise in software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Learners will earn the National Certificate: ICT Software Testing NQF Level 5 while working hands-on with African Resonance’s systems and platforms.

This is a gateway for passionate individuals eager to start their careers in technology, particularly within software quality assurance and the broader fintech industry.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:

  • Matric qualification with Mathematics and Physical Science as passed subjects
  • Basic IT literacy, including use of Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong interest in technology and software applications
  • Preference will be given to candidates with:
    • Computer Literacy or Computer Applications Technology (CAT)
    • Exposure to programming or scripting (HTML, Python, or Java)

Role Responsibility

Successful learners will be responsible for:

  • Executing manual test cases across different software components and interfaces
  • Following structured system testing procedures
  • Logging results accurately using Jira, TestRail, or Excel
  • Identifying, documenting, and reporting software bugs with supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots, logs)
  • Collaborating with QA Analysts and Developers for bug verification and re-testing
  • Updating and maintaining test case libraries and documentation
  • Supporting work across different environments such as Staging, QA, and UAT
