Key Features of the Programme

As a Graduate Management Trainee at SAB, you will embark on a 10-month journey that includes the following key elements:

  • Three-Month Rotations: You will rotate through various departments, including Marketing, Sales, Technology, and Supply/Logistics. Each rotation will allow you to work on real projects that align with SAB’s three strategic pillars, giving you hands-on experience in solving business challenges.
  • Global Exposure: The programme includes participation in the Cheers! Festival, a global induction event where you will learn about SAB’s strategies directly from senior leaders. Additionally, you will have access to the global GMT alumni database, connecting you with peers and mentors across the globe.
  • Mentorship and Learning Opportunities: Throughout the programme, you will receive formal mentoring and have access to a unique zone learning and development (L&D) curriculum. This includes opportunities for learning from senior leaders and gaining insights into high-level business decisions.
  • Mobility and Career Growth: The GMT programme emphasizes mobility, meaning that you should be open to working and living in various locations within your designated zone. Upon completing the programme, you will be placed in a front-line position, where you can further develop your skills and build your career.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The SAB Graduate Management Trainee Programme is designed for individuals who are eager to take on a multifunctional career and develop new skill sets throughout their journey. To be eligible for this opportunity, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Background: You must have completed your undergraduate degree by the time the programme starts, with a preference for candidates from STEM disciplines. Studying towards a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Business Administration, a Master’s degree, or an equivalent qualification is advantageous.
  • Work Experience: The programme is open to candidates with no more than three years of full-time formal work experience by the programme start date. Internships, vacation work, short-term contracts, and co-op experiences do not count towards this total.
  • Language Proficiency: You must be proficient in English, as this will be the primary language of communication during the programme.
  • Mobility and Legal Work Authorization: Candidates must have full legal work authorization (full citizenship) in the country they are applying for and be willing to relocate as needed.
