Job Description

The SARB Graduate Development Programme offers a unique opportunity for postgraduates to gain first-hand exposure to central banking. Over the 12-month period, graduates will be based at the SARB Head Office in Pretoria, where they will be assigned to a specific department. They will work on projects, research initiatives, and key banking operations, contributing to SARB’s mandate of maintaining price stability and economic growth.

Graduates will also benefit from a structured learning curriculum at the SARB Academy, covering essential central banking principles and financial industry best practices. Training will include:

  • Understanding monetary policy and its impact on the economy

  • Currency design and circulation

Role Responsibility
