Ideal Candidates
- Be passionate about animal welfare, with excellent animal handling skills.
- Be confident with good leadership ability.
- Have excellent people skills, be self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
- Have good decision-making abilities and initiative, be a forward thinker but be willing to take advice and guidance.
- Have good time management, organisational, interpersonal and admin skills.
- Be able to grow and further enhance Boksburg SPCA’s reputation.
Minimum Requirements
- Apply with Grade 12.
- Valid Driver’s licence for code EB and own transport.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
- Ability to compile detailed written reports.
- Maintain a high standard of ethics and discretion regarding sensitive information.
- Computer literate (not negotiable) – Microsoft Word, Excel, Email / scanning.
- Compassion for all animals.
- A SAPS Clearance Certificate will be required if the application is successful.
- Willingness to work an ‘on duty week’ per roster as well as afterhours / weekends should the need arise.
Minimum two contactable references, one of which from an employer Working Hours
Monday – Friday: 08h00 – 16h00
Saturday: 08h00 – 12h00 per duty roster.
Sunday & Public Holidays: Per duty roster.
