Standard Bank is offering an exciting full-time Consultant, Cash (Level 1) position within its Personal & Private Banking segment, located at Shop 66, Bayside Mall, Table View, Cape Town.   • Cash Consultant – Table View, Cape Town

As a Consultant, Cash (Level 1), you will be responsible for assisting walk-in customers with a variety of card and cash-related inquiries, such as teller services, ATM issues, and Moneygram transactions. Your role will involve forming an accurate understanding of customer demands and ensuring that their needs are met efficiently, adhering to the bank’s financial offerings. This position will require you to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling card and cash-related services, including teller and ATM transactions.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate assessments and efficient solutions.
  • Upholding the bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance in cash handling.
  • Collaborating with other departments to provide seamless services to customers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • National Certificate in Banking (NQF5 FAIS recognised qualification).
Experience Required
  • 3-4 years of branch banking experience, with a solid understanding of branch operations, cash handling, foreign exchange, and ATM management.
  • Familiarity with legal aspects related to cheques and cash handling.
  • Knowledge of various branch departments and their functions.
