As a Sales Assistant at Studio 88, you will be an essential part of the retail operations team. Your role includes delivering excellent customer service, assisting customers in finding products, processing transactions, and ensuring the store remains well-organized. Working under the guidance of the Store Manager, you will play a critical role in driving sales and maintaining high store standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and ensuring they have a positive shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Assist with restocking apparel, folding, organizing clothing, and maintaining a clean store environment.
- Ensure the store displays are visually appealing through basic visual merchandising principles.
- Maintain inventory control by organizing the stockroom and conducting regular spot checks.
Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for this role, you need the following:
- Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years in a sales or retail environment, preferably in fashion retail.
- A proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and handle cash transactions efficiently.
Required Skills
- Strong customer service skills: Essential for addressing customer needs and ensuring satisfaction.
