This 12-month NC Professional Cookery Learnership provides a blend of practical kitchen training and theoretical learning, all under the guidance of experienced culinary professionals at The Maslow Hotel. Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this learnership opportunity, applicants must meet the following:
- Valid South African Citizen ID
- Grade 12 (Matric Certificate) or equivalent NQF Level
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) and Motivational Letter
- A hospitality or culinary certificate is an added advantage
What You’ll Be Doing
As a learner in this program, you’ll be trained in a range of culinary and hospitality-related activities:
- Assist chefs with daily food preparation
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards
- Participate in theory classes and assessments.
- Support kitchen operations during shifts and events
