Takealot YES Learnerships 2025 Takealot, South Africa’s leading online retailer, has partnered with the Youth Employment Service (YES) to offer an exciting Digital Marketing Learnership Programme for 2025. This programme is tailored for unemployed South African youth who want to gain practical digital marketing and e-commerce skills. While the programme is supported and mentored by Takealot, learners will be placed with Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) that are part of the Takealot Marketplace.

This learnership is not a direct employment opportunity with Takealot, but rather a placement opportunity that empowers youth with hands-on experience in the e-commerce sector while helping small businesses thrive in the digital marketplace.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering professional customer service through phone and email channels
• Resolving customer queries using internal software tools
• Collaborating across departments to follow up on customer-related issues
• Managing client expectations in line with Takealot’s customer service values
• Assisting with product uploads, digital campaigns, and sales tracking on the Takealot Marketplace
• Contributing to digital marketing strategies that drive visibility and sales for SMMEs
• Participating in daily operations of small businesses to gain well-rounded exposure

Requirements:

• South African citizen
• Matric (Grade 12) certificate
• Aged between 18 and 25 (preferred)
• Clear criminal record
• Must reside within 49km of a listed job location in Gauteng
• Must be unemployed and not currently in another learnership/training
