Job Description
The Logistics and Supply Chain Management Learnership is structured to provide hands-on experience in logistics operations and multi-functional administrative duties. The program is designed to help learners build a strong foundation in supply chain processes, inventory management, and transportation logistics, preparing them for future roles in the industry.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the planning and coordination of logistics operations
- Supporting warehouse and distribution functions
- Performing administrative tasks related to supply chain management
- Monitoring and tracking deliveries and shipments
- Engaging in stock management and inventory control
- Learning about procurement processes and vendor management
- Working with supply chain software and tracking systems
- Supporting the development of logistics strategies to improve efficiency
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this learnership, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Minimum Qualification:
- National Senior Certificate (Matric)
- Strong academic record with Mathematics and English
Preferred Qualification (Added Advantage):
- TVET Qualification in Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics Management
- Basic understanding of logistics, warehousing, or distribution operations
Experience:
- No prior work experience is required
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a professional environment
Role Responsibility
