The Toyota Learner Maintenance programme offers comprehensive training in various technical aspects of automotive production. Participants will learn and enhance their skills in the following areas:

  • Working efficiently in a team
  • Handling safety hand tools
  • Reading and understanding assembly and manufacturing drawings
  • Marking off welding techniques
  • Operating and monitoring production machines
  • Surface preparation
  • Firefighting procedures
  • Operations and dispatch of products

Qualifications and Experience

To be eligible for this learnership programme, applicants must possess one of the following:

  • National Technical Certificate (N3-N6)
  • Matric/Technical Matric with subjects such as Mathematics, Physical Science, Engineering Science, Electrical Trade Theory, Mechanical Trade Theory, Motor Trade Theory, or Mechanical Drawing and Graphical Design.
