What is Limpopo Transport: Traffic Officer Learnership Programme 2025?
The Traffic Officer Learnership Programme is designed to train and equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to enforce road safety regulations. By the end of the programme, successful learners will be qualified Traffic Officers, capable of managing traffic situations, enforcing laws, and enhancing community safety.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification
- Age between 18 and 35 years
- A valid Code B driving licence (manual transmission)
- South African citizenship with a valid ID
- Medical fitness proven by a certified medical certificate
- No criminal record and not declared unfit to possess a firearm
- No visible tattoos that may be deemed unprofessional
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Must pass driving and competency tests during the selection process
Role Responsibility
Participants in the programme will:
- Enforce traffic laws and promote road safety in Limpopo
- Assist in reducing accidents and improving traffic flow
- Provide community services relating to traffic control
- Support road safety campaigns and initiatives
- Uphold the values of integrity and discipline in law enforcement
