Successful candidates will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including the maintenance and cleaning of facilities, assisting with the loading and unloading of goods, and supporting operational staff in various capacities. Job Purpose:
- To ensure a reliable duty by assisting RME Construction teams during maintenance and construction works
- To ensure that work is completed effectively and efficiently performing general worker duties.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
- Minimum Grade 9 and or 6 months relevant experience physically fit, (Undergo medical examination and be declared fit for duty)
- Be alert and safety conscious, as well as able to communicate in English
- Be able to work under adverse weather conditions.
- Be prepared to work extended hours on short notice.
- Willing to relocate or work outside your designated depot.
- Be able to work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Health and Safety conscious.
- Be prepared to work on noise environmental area.
Key Accountabilities
- Carry out all tasks as set out by the Supervisor/Team Leader.
- Be punctual and must be of sober habits.
- Handling, loading and offloading material
- Cleaning of sites by removing weeds, stacking materials, sweeping floors, removing and disposing of excess/rubble materials.
- Must be able to use any hand tool (non-mechanised) in the construction environment
- Cleaning of tools.
- Proof of residential address must be attached Certified Copy of (ID) must be attached
- Certified copy of School report must be attached
If the above documents not attached, application will be deemed /declared invalid.
