Ideal Candidate
To qualify for the internship programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be South African Citizens
- Have successfully completed a UNISA qualification equivalent to NQF Level 6 and above
- Be unemployed and have no prior formal work experience
- Be under the age of 35
- Not have been previously appointed at UNISA or any other organization for an internship
- Must be a UNISA graduate only
Role Responsibilities
Interns will be responsible for assisting their respective departments in various administrative and professional duties. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting daily administrative tasks in Human Resources or Finance departments
- Assisting with data capturing, document processing, and records management
- Participating in departmental meetings and professional development sessions
- Handling queries from internal and external stakeholders professionally
- Maintaining confidentiality and ethical conduct at all times
- Collaborating with team members to meet organizational objectives
- Applying theoretical knowledge in a practical working environment
