1. Development and Fundraising Intern (2 Positions)
This position is ideal for graduates passionate about higher education and civil society work. Interns will be involved in development and fundraising initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to advance UJ’s mission.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- No prior work experience is required.
2. Data Science Intern
Role Overview:
The Data Science Intern will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets. This role is highly analytical and will involve web scraping, data cleaning, and visualizations to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, preferably IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in Python programming and web scraping techniques.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and libraries such as Pandas, BeautifulSoup, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
