As a Call Center Agent, you will play a vital role in assisting students, staff, and the public with their inquiries about university processes, programs, and more. You will be the friendly voice on the other end of the line, providing accurate information and guidance to callers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist callers with information on entrance requirements, programs offered, and application statuses.
- Guide applicants through the online acceptance process.
- Refer complex inquiries to relevant departments such as College Offices or Student Fees.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be a current Final Year or Postgraduate UKZN student in good academic standing.
- Strong knowledge of university processes and structures.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and MS Teams.
- Prior call center experience is preferred but not required.
