Introduction
If you are a hospitality graduate eager to gain workplace experience in one of South Africa’s most exciting entertainment and tourism hubs, the uShaka Marine World Hospitality Management Internship Programme 2025 is now open for applications. This 12-month opportunity offers six graduates the chance to develop their skills while working at Durban’s world-class marine theme park.
What is uShaka Marine World Hospitality Management Internship?
The internship focuses on the Food and Beverage (F&B) department, a vital division that ensures visitors enjoy a top-quality dining and leisure experience. Interns will be fully involved in day-to-day operations, learning how the department supports the overall success of uShaka Marine World.
Through structured mentoring and practical exposure, participants will develop industry-ready skills that boost employability in both the hospitality and tourism sectors.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- A National Diploma in Hospitality Management (NQF Level 6) from a recognised public university or university of technology
Role Responsibility
Interns will be expected to:
- Assist in Food and Beverage daily operations
- Contribute to maintaining service excellence standards
- Gain practical exposure in customer service delivery
- Support the department in achieving operational goals
- Participate in quality assurance processes
Skills and Attributes
