Job Description
The Wholesale and Retail Distribution NQF Level 2 Certificate is designed to provide learners with foundational knowledge and practical skills in distribution operations within the Wholesale and Retail industry.
Successful candidates will receive structured training while gaining hands-on experience in stock handling, warehouse operations, quality control, and workplace safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Learners will be required to:
- Pick stock accurately according to company standards.
- Build and stack pallets correctly.
- Conduct quality inspections using standard measurements.
- Count leftover stock accurately.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
- Deliver quality outputs consistently.
- Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Support Picking, Line of Sight, Pallet Building, and Quality Control departments.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- A clear criminal record.
- Residence within 15km of the workplace.
- Willingness to work full-time.
- Commitment to completing the learnership programme.
Preferred Requirements
Preference may be given to candidates who:
- Are South African citizens.
- Have good English communication skills.
- Possess computer literacy skills (MS Office and Google Suite).
- Can work with databases and spreadsheets.
- Are between 18 and 33 years old.
- Have never participated in a Wholesale & Retail SETA Learnership before.
