Job Description

The Wholesale and Retail Distribution NQF Level 2 Certificate is designed to provide learners with foundational knowledge and practical skills in distribution operations within the Wholesale and Retail industry.

Successful candidates will receive structured training while gaining hands-on experience in stock handling, warehouse operations, quality control, and workplace safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Learners will be required to:

  • Pick stock accurately according to company standards.
  • Build and stack pallets correctly.
  • Conduct quality inspections using standard measurements.
  • Count leftover stock accurately.
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Deliver quality outputs consistently.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Support Picking, Line of Sight, Pallet Building, and Quality Control departments.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • A clear criminal record.
  • Residence within 15km of the workplace.
  • Willingness to work full-time.
  • Commitment to completing the learnership programme.

Preferred Requirements

Preference may be given to candidates who:

  • Are South African citizens.
  • Have good English communication skills.
  • Possess computer literacy skills (MS Office and Google Suite).
  • Can work with databases and spreadsheets.
  • Are between 18 and 33 years old.
  • Have never participated in a Wholesale & Retail SETA Learnership before.
