Introduction
Tracker Connect is offering an opportunity to 10 young South Africans through an Installation Technician Internship based at their Head Office in Johannesburg. The purpose of this internship is to upskill unemployed youth, enabling them to install electronic equipment into various vehicle types, including trucks and plant machinery.

Job Description
Key Outputs
- Perform installations according to the required quality standards
- Complete all relevant documentation linked to installations
- Follow a predetermined installation schedule
- Provide customer service in line with company standards
- Take responsibility for all fixed assets issued by the company
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- Valid driver’s license
- Qualification in an automotive-related field:
- Autotronics Level 1–3
- Motor Mechanics Level 1–4
- Electrical Engineering N3 (Light Current)
- Mechanical or automotive electrical work experience will be advantageous
- Must be currently unemployed and not studying or involved in another internship/learnership
- Willingness to travel for coursework
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Age between 18 and 35 years
- Ability to work under pressure
- Dedicated and responsible
- Computer literacy (MS Office) will be advantageous
- Strong independent thinking, logic, and reasoning skills
Remuneration
A minimal stipend will be provided to cover basic expenses for the duration of the 12-month internship.
