Programme Overview
An opportunity is available for skilled participants to take part in a short-term programme focusing on garden maintenance and environmental support.
The programme is implemented by the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI).
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will perform manual labour, including:
- Chain saw operation
- Brush cutter operation
- Herbicides application
- Construction work (paving, painting, brick laying, etc.)

Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must reside within the local municipality where the garden is based (proof of residence required)
- Physically and medically fit to perform manual labour
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in any of the listed duties will be an advantage
