Purpose Statement

Using the Global One product offering, Service Consultants support our clients in banking better and living better. Experience and Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
- 3 to 6 months of client service experience within a retail, financial, or banking environment.
- Alternatively, candidates with a relevant tertiary qualification can be considered even without prior experience.
Ideal Experience:
- More than 1 year of client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment.
- A demonstrated track record of engaging in sales and client-facing roles.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational.
Ideal or Preferred Qualifications:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or a similar field.
- Certification in Finance or Banking.
Knowledge and Skills
Minimum Knowledge:
- Basic calculations.
- Retail/consumer service environment.
Ideal Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of Capitec Bank Products.
- Internal business processes and procedures.
- Organizational policies, including the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP).
Skills:
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management abilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
Conditions of Employment
- Candidates must have a clear criminal and credit record.
- Fingerprints must be detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system.
