Department of Health: Internships Opportunity 2024 The National Department of Health is offering internship positions for suitably qualified unemployed graduates. Here are the details:

Post: INTERNSHIP (REF NO: NDOH 9/2024) – X5 Posts
Stipend: R7,043.31 per month
Centre: Pretoria

Requirements:

• National Diploma (NQF 6) / Degree (NQF 7) in Microbiology, Biomedical Science.
• Good communication (written and verbal), planning, and organizing skills.

Duties:

1. Imports and exports of biological materials.
2. Inspection of laboratories, including tissue banks.
3. Acquiring information on international standards for establishing pathological laboratories, tissue banks, and other banks related to human tissues.
4. Verification of registration of the Principal Investigator / Medical Specialist with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
