  • Contract: 6 – 8 Months

Makhado Municipality in partnership with Department Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure is offering Expanded Public Works Program -empowerment general maintenance project opportunities for the purpose of benefiting the neediest members of community who are indigent, youth, poor women, widows, orphans, child headed families and people with disability.

Applications are invited from members of community who residing in Makhado Municipal area seeking for empowerment general maintenance projects opportunities.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?

  • South African citizens who are residents of Makhado Municipality may apply and proof of residence should be submitted as well.
  • Applicants must be unemployed, attach proof of income, age between 18 – 45 years.
DURATION:

The duration of placement is ranging from 6 – 8 months depending on the type of position applied for. Please note that this placement programme is not a permanent offer of employment, but the contractual opportunity to offer the indigents, and poor women, youth, widows, orphans, child headed families and people with disabilities.

HOW TO APPLY?

Applicants must specify position applying for, accompanied by comprehensive curriculum vitae and certified copies to prove income and a copy of SA ID document (Smart IDs to be copied on both sides), Proof of residence.

The certifying stamp must not be older than 6 months.

Note: Appointment is subject to security clearance, verification, and signing of the Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure contract. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interview. If no response received from Makhado Municipality within 45 days after the closing date; it must be regarded that your application has been unsuccessful.
