Purpose of the Programme
The primary goal of this Graduate Programme is to offer graduates advanced workplace learning in a specialized discipline within their field of study.
Programme Highlights
Participants in the programme will gain exposure to various critical areas, including:
- Tailings Dam Design and Operations: Learn about the design, construction, and operational requirements of tailings dams.
- GISM Implementation: Understand the application of the Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management (GISM) across various Fraser Alexander sites.
- Technical Reporting and Meetings: Gain experience in technical reporting, presentations, and participating in technical meetings on tailings management.
- Plant Structures and Civil Works: Get exposure to plant structures and civil works, including design aspects.
- Metallurgical Processes: Understand and engage with the metallurgical processes involved in the industry.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be eligible for the Fraser Alexander Engineering Internship, applicants must have:
- A BSc / Bachelor’s Degree / BTech in Civil or Industrial Engineering.
- Medical fitness for duty.
- A valid driver’s license.
- No prior participation in a similar Graduate Programme.
Additionally, candidates should possess the following skills and attributes:
