Minimum Required Qualification
- NQF 1 General Education Certificate (GEC) (Grade 9 or equivalent) or equivalent ABET 4 qualification.
- Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
- Clear security screening record.
- Grade 12 will be an added advantage.
- Experience in relevant working area will also be advantageous

- Knowledge and understanding of safety, health and environmental legislation.
- Knowledge of mining standards, procedures and logistics.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Performs a few simple repetitive tasks involving mostly manual effort, e.g. sweeping, digging, loading, etc.
- Works under supervision.
- Duties may include the operation of simple equipment/machinery.
- Engage in effective teamwork.
- Report any safety related issues to the full-time Safety Representative.
- Participate in required meetings.
- Work within applicable Safety, Regulations, Acts, Codes of Practice and standards.
