Requirements:
- Qualifications:
- Must have a qualification that qualifies for registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled Nursing Assistant.
- Proof of current registration with SANC is essential.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team.
- Capable of providing fundamental, high-quality nursing care to patients.
- Competence in functioning under high-pressure conditions.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to uphold respect and dignity for patients and their families.
- Reporting:
- Successful candidates will report to both the enrolled nurse and the professional nurse.
Duties:
- Patient Care:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including physical care.
- Deliver elementary clinical nursing care.
- Professional Development:
- Maintain professional growth and adhere to ethical standards.
- Participate in self-development activities.
- Nursing Procedures:
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of nursing procedures.
- Execute lawful instructions as required.
