Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
- Basic Computer Literacy.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Understanding of customer care and Batho Pele Principles.
- Willing to work under pressure.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Capturing data from available records into required formats such as databases, tables, and spreadsheets.
- Verifying, querying, and correcting missing data and errors observed during data entry.
- Reviewing and validating all data from records.
- Submitting captured data accurately and timeously.
- Making regular backups of data.
- Updating registers and statistics.
- Keeping and maintaining records and files.
- Ensuring records and files are properly sorted and secured.
- Providing information to relevant components.
- Performing any other related duties allocated by the supervisor.
NB: Preference for these posts will be given to the Data Capturers for COVID-19 who are currently appointed on contract.
