Job Overview

As a Call Centre Agent, you will handle incoming calls from customers, addressing their inquiries, providing information about our restaurant, menu, services, and policies. Your primary objective is to accurately take down and submit orders to the stores, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Master the Menu

One of your primary responsibilities will be to thoroughly understand the restaurant’s menu. This includes:

  • Providing Detailed Descriptions: You will assist customers by providing detailed descriptions of menu items and making recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Making Recommendations: Utilize your menu knowledge to suggest dishes that might interest the customer, enhancing their dining experience.

2. Order Management

  • Taking Orders: Accurately take orders over the phone for delivery and collection, recording customers’ choices and special instructions, and coordinating them with the store.
  • Modifying Orders: Assist customers in modifying existing orders and making special requests. Effectively communicate these changes with the stores to ensure customer satisfaction.

3. Upselling and Cross-Selling

  • Identifying Opportunities: Identify opportunities to upsell or promote additional menu items, beverages, or services to customers.
  • Providing Information: Offer relevant information and recommendations to enhance customers’ dining experience and increase sales revenue.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Must have a Matric.
  • Computer Literacy: Must be computer literate.
  • Communication Skills: Must have good written and verbal skills.
  • Phone Etiquette: Must possess good phone etiquette.
  • Experience: Previous experience in inbound calls and a call centre environment or similar role is preferred.
